Application Requirements:

• (10) bags per minute line rate
  
• Ability to robotically handle 2 types of slip sheets which run at the same time
  
• Ability to build 2 individual pallets loads simultaneously
  
• Ability to distinguish between 2 different products on a single inbound conveyor
  
• Ability to robotically pick and place pallets from a pallet queue as required

Details:

After working with the customer to determine the application requirements, Promatech was able to generate a process specific quote which included hardware and software details along with a complete simulation of the robot to evaluate cell performance. During engineering, Promatech worked closely with the customer electrical and mechanical engineers to insure that the cell conformed to plant standards and utilized components already stocked by the customer onsite where possible. During assembly and testing, customer engineers and project managers where onsite at Promatech to assess the progress of the project and make minor changes as necessary. While the runoff was being executed at Promatech, operators as well as maintenance personnel received training on operations and maintenance. This allowed for quicker start up at the customers facility and a better understanding of the system and its operation by the customer.
